About The Full Moon This Wednesday in Capricorn!
Edited by Gemma
This month’s Full Moon will be at 21°21’ Capricorn, occurring exactly on Wednesday the 13th of July at 19:38 in the UK. The Full Moon in Capricorn is akin to the energetically determined yet fair leader; someone tenacious and focussed on the strategic planning of their personal goals for the future. This individual has an original approach to creative problem-solving, especially when this involves the needs of the collective and they’re able to see the world from a critical, objective view-point whilst watching from a place of deep compassion and unconditional love. Unfortunately, an existential sense of loneliness and expenditure can sometimes weigh heavily, yet their huge heart coupled their realistic approach life and a controlled demeanour sees them through every step of adversity. Remember, this just one personification of the chart of the Full Moon. In essence, we all have the potential to embody whichever representation of each aspect we wish. Such is the basis of free will.
The Capricorn – Cancer Axis
The Capricorn – Cancer axis represents the dynamic endeavour to uncover resources that are vital to our most primary needs of survival and security. As a cardinal axis, anything or anyone associated with this axis incorporates the steam of the first responder or of active and willing participation, especially as and when this relates to needs that are relevant to survival. There-fore, at the time of this coming Full Moon, many of us will be looking to our immediate envi-ronment for answers to which roles we will need to play or where we need to be in order to reach a certain level of security, for ourselves and those around us. Capricorn is a long-term in-vestor, so thinking about our future goals as they relate to security is also on the agenda.
Mercury will Conjoin the Sun
Mercury is in conjunction with the Sun, so our mental processing is highlighted yet with these celestial bodies both being in the intuitive and impulsive sign of the crab, Cancer, the specific ways it is highlighted could vary. One the one hand, emotions are likely to be a topic where our identities and vital life forces are concerned, creating a general concern with our emotions and well-being. On the other, we may feel more inclined to ‘switching off’ from our usual mental processes and thoughts, so that we can rest our minds and allow a natural influx of memories and images from our internal wells that are connected with the divine sources of energy.
Pluto will conjoin the Moon
The Pluto - Moon conjunction in Capricorn, whilst Pluto is in retrograde motion, will mean we are ready to thoroughly internalise some of our personal issues for the sake of survival, posture and emotional strength. However deeply we are experiencing our pains, however vividly or however extremely, we are oriented towards a place of reason and structure. Our insights are sharp and transformational, yet we may still need to focus these within for our own sense of survival.
Venus will square Neptune
Venus is in a square aspect with Neptune at the time of the Full Moon and has been applying to this square throughout the days prior. The exact square will be set to take place the day af-ter, on the 14th of July at 06:15 am BST in the UK. Therefore the effects of this aspect will no doubt be experienced at the very least throughout the whole of the week, from Monday through to Friday. Venus square Neptune is a difficult aspect in which we can experience a sense of confusion or loss, especially in the realms of romantic relationships, finances or friend-ships. This confusion or loss can lead towards feelings of exclusion and loneliness, yet as I pre-viously mentioned with the Capricorn Full Moon in conjunction with Pluto, we may be willing to embrace these feelings for the time being to see what our internal worlds have to offer us.
Chiron will Square Mercury
Chiron at 16°25’ Aries will square Mercury at 17°42’ Cancer, so this could highlight some ten-sions we hold between our deep wounds and our thinking minds. Does it hurt psychologically to ponder on our wounds right now or do we need to recognise that the explicit expressions of our pains will take us on our spiritual journeys more quickly towards the next level of healing. Healing really does go hand-in-hand with spiritual progression and hence enlightenment and once progressing (through each degree of enlightenment), we unfold on a greater ability to heal others with not just our words, but our minds also.
Juno and Neptune will Trine the Sun
Neptune’s conjunction with Juno as she trines the Sun is the marker of unconditional love and compassion for each and every person, spirit and soul in existence. Juno also helps to open a portal through which we may encounter chance meetings with our soul mates. These chance meetings will no doubt help us relieve a lot of tension resulting from Pluto’s opposition to the Sun and the harsh realities of our lives on planet Earth.
