Venus turned retrograde on the 19th of December at 26° Capricorn and will be set to return to direct again on the 29th of January 2022 at 11° Capricorn. When a planet turns retrograde, there’s an apparent backward motion in relation to Earth and this movement extends itself to its astrological interpretation. Therefore, we may find ourselves revisiting the past in terms of feelings and romance, whether we’re single or in a relationship. Perhaps there’s a former love we never gained closure with or someone we once liked who’s unexpectedly re-appeared into our mind’s eye. Of course the reason for re-appearances in our minds is usually because there’s something we still need to work through emotionally. In long-term relationships, these could even be about disagreements we had with our partner in the past, as they come back to demand re-assessment.

With Venus in Capricorn, we might revisit a loss or rehash responsibilities (Saturn) and there’s an equal likelihood we will revisit money issues, especially as it relates to business and work.
