Jupiter is Astrology’s ‘greater benefic’, meaning he is able to grant us the greatest potential for benevolence and luck, over all of the other planets. So, whenever we see Jupiter in a person’s natal chart or gracing the skies via our transits, we know there’s a good chance of a positive outcome.
However, there are times when Jupiter can become too much, in some zodiac signs or under certain conditions, when we may find things happening repeatedly, in extreme quantities or our habits become a little excessive. This is when we need to take Jupiter into account and approach some things in our daily lives in moderation.
Jupiter’s Ingress Dates
Jupiter moves back into Aquarius tomorrow, on the 28th of July and will stay there until the 29th of December. Although he has already moved through this sign this year, this time he is retrograde and may bring up some past issues to reconsider. Aries Ascendant
Jupiter will move back into your 11th house until late December, so you may find yourself reconsidering some of the beliefs and philosophies you adopted within certain friendships earlier in the year. What caused you to think the things you did and are they still feasible?

Jupiter will be dipping back into your 10th house, which may cause you to reconsider some work decisions you made earlier this year. Perhaps you took too much on and you would now like to lighten your load to make way for your social life? Other opportunities may now arise that suit you better.
Gemini Ascendant
With Jupiter in your 9th house throughout this period, there may be a focus on higher education, personal and religious beliefs and travel. Jupiter will be in accidental dignity here, so this could be a positive time of reflecting, re-organising or doing away with any previous hasty and ill-thought-out decisions for a more positive future.
Cancer Ascendant
With a Cancer Ascendant and Jupiter in the 8th house, you may find yourself re-considering decisions you have made with the bank or other money held in an account outside of your home. You may also find that you have some final opportunities to take relating to your financial situation that you had previously overlooked.
Leo Ascendant
Jupiter will be moving back into your 7th house, which means the growth of your relationships will be a focus for the second half of this year. While things have been great for a while, you may have recently realised the situation is not as great as it seemed and in order to move forward, some adjustments will need to be made.
Virgo Ascendant
With Jupiter moving through your 6th house for the remainder of the year, you may have to re-touch of some of those details you’ve been working on for a project at work in order to make sure it is just as you need it to be. This is your opportunity to make it count, for improvement and to give it that final boost with added potential.
Libra Ascendant
Did you find yourself with plenty of opportunities for new romance this year, only to realise you had made some wrong decisions along the way while sat down reflecting? For the remainder of the year, with Jupiter in your 5th house, perhaps some of these seemingly passed connections will fall back under your radar. Time to try again?
Scorpio Ascendant
With a Scorpio Ascendant, Jupiter will be moving back through the 4th house of your natal chart, so some of the new interior designs for your home you had planned might need to be reconsidered. If you had decided to move house or buy a new property, there may also be things that need tweaking with the sale or some rethinking to do.
Sagittarius Ascendant
With a Sagittarius Ascendant, community gatherings may have to be put on hold over the coming months as unexpected communication mishaps may have come to the fore or got in the way of your plans. However, the 3rd house is a fortunate house for Jupiter, so it looks like things may be back on track after some initial reorganisations.
Capricorn Ascendant
Jupiter is moving back into your 2nd house and this is great for finances, so make the most of this for the rest of the year. Although, have you made any large purchases you realised you didn’t really need? If you purchased in excess this year, you may find yourself sending something back!
