SOLARIAN DOMINANT
Those born under a dominant Sun, whether they are a man or a woman, are always a "prima donna": they never go unnoticed. They are egocentric with possible narcissistic traits, tendencies that do not necessarily make them unpleasant, though, also because they like being appreciated. They will just always come before anyone else, even their dearest loved ones. They always stand out for some kind of characteristics: they can be especially beautiful, or smart, or charismatic. The Sun-dominant types can have plenty of qualities, the problem is that they think they are constantly living on a stage, in the spotlight.They are always looking for consent, approval, admiration, and always want to be in charge; therefore, if they happen to have to submit to other people’s authority, they risk suffering serious psychological breakdowns.
Generally, they can achieve prestigious positions that are in tune with their golden nature quite effortlessly, because they are naturally inclined to take control of people, situations, groups and companies. They are ambitious and want to succeed, and will hardly sacrifice their career and honours to their private life. What is good about them is that they reject any mean trick, since they only want to be appreciated for what they truly are. Everything revolves around their own person, including money, power, intellect and pleasures. The Solarians have a strong sense of dignity, which can however degenerate into excessive pride and conceit or, on the other hand, lighten into a sincere and heartfelt tendency to give to others with generosity, precisely because they feel like a sort of Sun that must keep everything alive with its own warmth and light. There is something regal about their demeanour and manners. Women have generally beautiful hair, but also men are less likely than others to lose hair and go bald. Their dressing style is neat and elegant. Eccentricities are allowed, but only if carefully pondered and fashionable, since the Solar type loves to keep up with fashion.
They are dynamic and do not need many hours of sleep to recharge their batteries, also because the lunar dimension of dream, subconscious and inactivity, although certainly creative and useful for the psychophysical well-being, is not so congenial to them. They prefer movement, action, sports. They can get up very early to exercise or go jogging, and then go to work and nonchalantly deal with important meetings and projects.
They can be well-educated, also in the humanities, since they love art and history, and are particularly fascinated by the life and gestures of great historical figures, such as leaders, Heads of State, Presidents and dictators, who they identify themselves with: Napoleon, who was a Leo, had an important solar component in his chart. They are especially interested in political and financial issues, while news stories are considered of no importance and just suitable for people with very limited interests in life. They would never follow the events related to an obscure murder with the attention to detail of a Mercurian or the investigative instinct of a Plutonian. They like the cinema and keeping up-to-date with anything new that can improve their management skills in their business.
If they are employees, they will climb the hierarchy to become a manager, if they are freelancers, they will manage to succeed and make a name for themselves on the market. They are natural-born entrepreneurs.
THE SOLARIAN AND LOVE
They want to be flattered, or better still, idolised. If they are men, they will appreciate the woman who recognises his divine abilities, superior intelligence, perfect physique. If they are women, they will be surrounded by a crowd of devoted admirers willing to do anything for a blink of their eye. We may be exaggerating a bit, but to a certain extent. The Solarians are egocentric people who could never be with someone who does not recognise their leading role or who tries to steal the limelight from them. Therefore, successful, competitive, career women should stay away from them. Please note, Solarians love successful people who have culture, ambitions, projects. They will be their privileged interlocutors, but they would never take them into their bedroom, and would never settle down or have children with them. The man in love with a Solarian woman may have more chances, though, because if the woman projects her masculine part onto her partner instead of expressing it directly, she will be more accommodating, as long as you are a comics Super Hero and that she sees you as the best choice ever. Anyway, at home, in intimacy, she will order you around and you will not be allowed to contradict her.
Both sexes do not like vulgarity, lies, shabbiness. They are naturally faithful and generous and can surprise you with expensive gifts if they are wealthy. If, however, you want to go around comfortably in a sweatsuit and slippers every Sunday, be careful: you risk being cheated on before being dumped for someone who looks neater than you.
If they leave you, it will be because they really don't love you anymore. If you leave them, don’t worry: they are so proud that they will disappear without too much drama. They will keep mulling over how you could leave them for “a nobody”. Then they will get over it, big-time.
THE SOLARIANS AND THE OTHER PLANETARY DOMINANT TYPES
The Sun-dominant types get along well with the Martians, with whom they share a passionate and enthusiastic nature, love for life and decision-making skills. There is also an understanding with the Jupiterians and Venusians, since they appreciate their ethics, aesthetics, good taste, influential connections and circles of people. They can admire the Neptunians and Lunarians for their creativity, but while intriguing intimacy can develop with the Moon, as long as she remains in her role of satellite lover, the Neptunian is seen as an ambiguous and weak individual who escapes the responsibilities of life. They can have a chat with the Mercurians and Plutonians once in a while, on specific topics, but the former are too intellectual and wordy, while the latter are too secretive and complicated for their linear and crystal-clear tastes. The Saturnians are sober and responsible, but their cold nature with no sparks can’t be accepted by the Solar warmth. The Uranians do not really appeal to them, also because, among the zodiac types, they are definitely the least inclined, in their liberal individualism, to adore his Majesty.
