Jupiter transiting square Venus
The dissonance between Jupiter and Venus often leads to an increase in sentiments or behaviour within the couple. If there is greater desire, there is also greater jealousy, because passion is intense but perennially unsatisfied as well as absolutist and even exaggerated. Particularly in the square aspect the erotic rush seems to increase and even to go too far taking form in a kind of greed, in the necessity of continuous and growing stimuli. "I am all yours", "I would do anything for you" and sentences like this can recur and highlight the "totalising" valence of this transit, as well as the partners' error of considering the relationship as an equivalent of life, and not as a component, as important as it may be. At times the opposition aspect represents a critical standstill after the trine of the preceding year, forcing the partners to become conscious of their individual value that both have within the "couple" organism, the same way that no fire can provide heat if it is not fuelled. In these cases, erotic enthusiasm can decrease in quality and quantity, and the lack of satisfaction generates complaints, protests or sterile requests, whereas it would be necessary to recover the mutual interest and more respectful motivations, considering the individual needs and desires.

All transits of Jupiter to Mars amplify the energy of Fire and then the eroticism, the passion and the determination to fight for sacred reasons ... or, at least in this case, so called sacred reasons. One of the least conscious effects in the stressful transits and particularly in the square aspect, is a certain risk of fanaticism or of haughty arrogance; therefore each aim, motivation and battle that partners share, assumes an excessive ideological valence that risks turning into fanaticism. No matter what it's about: religion, politics or simply problems with the neighbours, in any case partners will have the sensation of having to fight "against" the majority, rather than "for" something, trying to convince, to redeem or to rout whoever thinks differently. It is not to be excluded, especially in the opposition, that is again reflected in relationships, through exhausting, polemic and scarcely rational arguments, on various topics but always in the name of a so called "matter of principle"! Obviously, considering that it is quite a short transit, we should not feel excessively worried about it, provided that it does not become part of slower and heavier transits, in which case it might mean rash choices, expensive decisions, out of one's control (as a single or a couple); it is therefore to be faced with conscious common sense, considering that in this period the capacity to judge is always inhibited by subjectivity.
