The dream

I had a nightmare last night ...It was a room full of my family and our kids the dream is in our family home and for some reason the kids were all in a greatroom in the back of the house and as the house currently is the room is open floor plan but in this nightmare it had doors on it and for some reason I had locked the door right before someone knocked on the front door as I answered the door a kind,gentle looking man says hi and I said yes how can i help you as loud as he could and mean and agressive he says OPEN THE F'N DOOR AND RIPS IT open with his bare hands and begins chasing us through the home I woke up in a panic as if it were real literraly scare and deep breathing could not go back to sleep it was so real... Please help me understand why?

This nightmare has a lot to do with something impressed you on Tv or newspaper. Nevertheless, symbolic meaning is to open the door of your heart and start to LISTEN ! You closed the door of your feeling about something that menaces your balance or that still scares you on the emotional level.
