Mars
Your planet is Mars, alias Aries, the God of war. With this ruler, could you have ever really been a thoughtful, calm and diplomatic type? Could you? Of course not. In reality you are a true son of Mars; impulsive and irrational but also distrustful and aggressive. In short, slightly mad. Mars fights to survive and to establish his physical supremacy over the enemy and cares not about right or wrong; his only concern is that the enemy must be defeated. This explains, at least in part, your combative nature, your instinctive reactions and your tendency to speak without thinking. As you know, the motto for your sign is; "I am number one", and you are certainly someone who has no use for those who come second or third. Maybe the motto should be more realistic and say "I am the only one and I will do everything to remain so".
Pluto
The planet Pluto has its domicile in your sign. Discovered in 1930, professional studies have shown it to have a clearly-defined symbolism. Pluto is the vital centre, the primary drive, an ingrained need of self-affirmation. It is the inner nucleus of the “self”: before family, society, school, duty and the law could shape it, layer after layer, with life’s conditioning.

 The Sun (the “Ego”) is exalted in Aries and as a result the luminary in your sign gives the most of its potential. It is not the normal warm, bright summer sun though; in this case it is extremely fiery with too much heat and too much light. In solar symbolism this exaltation is that of the "Ego" who wants to assert itself at all costs, to fight for survival, whatever the cost. It is an "Ego" that does not accept rivalry and fills life with fury; burning everything around it. It is not so much a Sun, more a fireball without direction, triumphant and arrogant in its immense power.
