Exorcising Neptune
FIRST HOUSE
Neptune, a psychic planet, is closely related to our moods and it is perhaps one of the planets that affect us most strongly from this point of view. What can we expect when it passes through our first house? It will only emphasise what already potentially expresses the basics of our first house in the natal chart, although we must always remember to "anticipate" the planet in order to "unload" its symbol. Here it’s quite simple because often Neptune tends to lead to states of anguish and/or depression, so we will be able to fight against it for example by total involvement in a religious creed, in an oriental philosophy, in the impassioned study of astrology but also by almost "fanatically" supporting a football team or maniacally collecting everything related to a certain celebrity (singer, footballer, film director), and in doing so, we will spontaneously "activate" a slightly altered state of conscience without waiting for Neptune to do it. In this way we will become involved in a kind of “fanaticism” that to a great extent will appease the intentions of the planet; since because of this transit some of you might also resort to the use of drugs and/or various substances, the most heartfelt advice we can give is instead that of resorting only to some good antidepressants.
SECOND HOUSE
The planet of fears and phobias in the house of money. It is easy to understand what it will bring. It will simply direct your possible worries and/or anxieties in this direction, or else a sense of constant concern regarding everything to do with “money that might not be enough” or “money that has yet to arrive” might “assail you”. How can you "exorcise" the symbol of the planet in this case? It may be stating the obvious but all you have to do is not to run up any debts, pay off all debts with almost maniacal precision and punctuality (even the smaller ones including ones that perhaps you have accumulated with a local supermarket or newsagent etc, to also give small tips here and there, and in this way overall you should survive this planetary transit almost unharmed. If you really have to spend money, do it – if you can - to purchase a house near the seaside or a boat (Neptune - Water). Another way to "pay" Neptune transiting the house of money, might be by starting a long analytical therapy (Neptune is a psychic planet don’t forget!) spending money in relation to Neptune - psyche, largely to pass the long period of time that Neptune will take in occupying this position.
THIRD HOUSE
With Neptune in this house you must carefully check every trip you take in motorised vehicles since Neptune, the planet that also symbolises "confused" and/or "foggy" mental states, is never ideal in the house that represents movement, as well as brothers and/or sisters (the third one). Also in this case it is rather simple to exorcise the symbol: as far as you can (since this is a transit that lasts rather a long time), try to organise yourself in such way as to use your car as little as possible, and if you have a motorbike or a scooter stop using it immediately. Also be careful when travelling in general, particularly those at sea, and avoid driving under the effect of alcohol and/or medicine. Also, dedicate your time, much more than usual, let’s say on a daily basis and for a long period of time, to a brother and/or sister who is not well or who are in a state of depression, or even worse have an addiction to drugs or psychotropic agents, could be a good way to "exorcize" Neptune. Another good way to unload the symbol of Neptune, for example in relation to written communication, might be to set up a blog with the aim of comforting and bringing relief to other people who are in difficult situations.
Lastly, in this period in which you are easily influenced, you should avoid reading literature regarding esotericism, magic, the occult etc.
FOURTH HOUSE
Neptune, the planet that always represents the state of our moods and feelings, crosses the IV house that symbolises the environment in which we live, the domestic walls but also our parents and especially our father. What will happen? Well, problems may arise which are more or less serious regarding plumbing (water pipes) so as you are already aware of it, do something about it in anticipation by calling a plumber for an inspection to check that everything works according to legal regulations. You will see that in this way you will have already unloaded a substantial part the symbol of Neptune in the fourth house; alternatively, for those who can afford it, another effective way of "exorcizing" the planet might be by temporarily going to live by the seaside (Neptune - Waters). Yet another way to "satisfy" the planet is by assiduously dedicating your time and affection to spending more time with your parents, trying to be attentive and anticipating a possible "descent" into a state of depression on their part: invite them more frequently to go out with you. Go to the cinema with them. If you have children then get them involved. Take them for a walk. Basically, try to bring life as much as possible to their days.
FIFTH HOUSE
If you are artists and/or creative in general, this is a position that is really positive for you: in the coming years your mind might "invent" one or more ideas that will have significantly positive effects on your work and/or artistic productions. Instead for everyone else, the passage of this planet automatically creates apprehension towards their children and/or sentimental relationships. But how is it possible to get rid of all this? Which is the best way to "unload" the symbol of Neptune in this house? For example, organising your free time with your children with more attention and love (if they are still the right age of course), in this sense anticipating both them and Neptune, and thereby avoiding possible worries regarding the company they keep when not at home or at school: in other words, if it’s you organising their time you will also know in whose company they are and you can reach an agreement with other parents on the most varied initiatives so as to be able to easily have the situation under control at all times. Regarding sentimental relationships there is little you can do: do not put your partner under too much stress, and if you have doubts about whether he/she is being faithful to you, you could in turn "adopt" a Neptunian attitude with him/her (with a little bit of mystery, with something that is a little obscure … proposing something that then turns out not to be possible in those terms) thereby giving the impression that is not to be taken for granted that you will always and in any case be "there" for him/her.
SIXTH HOUSE
The fear of falling ill, phobias concerning diseases, imaginary misfortunes, fear of viruses that attack you and/or any symptoms of any kind: this is what Neptune might "provoke" in your psyche by entering your sixth house, which mainly concerns your health and daily work (the office, colleagues, the office manager etc). How is it possible to "exorcise" the symbol of this planet in this sector of the horoscope? It is quite simple: by going to your doctors and finding out what disturbances you have to cure, going back to taking medication regularly (always with a medical prescription of course, not based on your own decision!) in this way you will appease "the anxiety of disease" brought by Neptune, and at the same time you will avoid focusing your attention on obsessions regarding any non-existent pathologies. In the same way, regarding work and/or any employees you may have, be as open as possible. Discuss things, explain your reasons, always outline your thoughts and/or perplexity, and by making everything clear and getting rid of any doubt you will avoid the mental difficulties that Neptune can often make you create in this sector.
SEVENTH HOUSE
The passage of Neptune in our VII house often speaks to us in the following order: about our partner, business partner and in general of others. In what way does Neptune speak to us about them? In terms of phobias and/or anguish and/or depressing terms that might "relate" to any of the aforementioned categories of people. In this case you also have to act promptly in anticipating Neptune and doing everything to “unload” or to “exorcize” it. How? For example by finding a way of spending much more time with your partner and trying to be careful to notice any "warning signs" regarding his/her uneasiness and/or possible psychic difficulties in such a way as to be ready with recommendations and / or timely actions (some bland psychotropic agent or a chat with a psychologist etc.) Nevertheless, be careful not to see any “ghosts” and/or “difficult situations” yourself where they don’t exist: therefore, observe with care but without rushing into things. The same thing applies to any business partners you may have. Since Neptune in VII house also speaks to us about possible anguishes ensuing from legal proceedings, also in this case, you might wish to “get ahead” of Neptune by taking legal action first against someone with whom you have an unresolved dispute.
EIGHTH HOUSE
Essentially, here the fear (Neptune the psychic planet often represents anxieties and/or true phobias) works on two levels: fears tied to financial questions and fear of death, crisis of faith, anguish concerning everything to do with the unseen: after death, in relation to considerations concerning the possible survival of the soul after the death of your physical self and so on.
In the former case it will be sufficient, considering a very important purchase you may have to make (an expensive property, a luxurious car etc), and which you cannot afford, for you to act very early to enquire for a somewhat "long term" financial plan from the bank, so that when Neptune passes through your eighth house, you can “unload it” (in the sense of its symbol) paying off the instalments a little at a time and for a long time to pay off the said financial plan. If instead you fear the other level mentioned above, then probably the only wise thing to do (which is also a little obvious) to "exorcize" Neptune would be to use some psychotropic agent under medical prescription, perhaps accompanying this therapy with psychotherapeutic sessions.
NINTH HOUSE
Neptune in our ninth house speaks to us about probable anguishes and/or anxieties ensuing from all that is “foreign”, “faraway” and all communications (written and/or spoken) that can reach you from far away. Sometimes it might be that a relative who lives far is not well, or that someone close to you needs medical attention abroad to solve a health problem: and thus you have found the way to "unload" Neptune! By knowing about the situation in good time and in detail, you might spontaneously offer to accompany them yourself, perhaps not abroad but to another place like the city or country, to help them undergo any therapy: in fact, remember that often in astrology “abroad”, or “faraway”, are also places that are a long way from where we live (without necessarily having to fly out somewhere). Since Neptune nevertheless also represents everything related to water, be careful with any journeys by sea and if possible “act” in time to avoid them, because they may also be a possible source of worry and/or anguish for you.
TENTH HOUSE
Neptune - fear, Neptune - anguish, Neptune - anxiety, stands in your X house, increasing your fear in a rather exponential manner in relation to changes in your career: it probably relates more to eventualities and/or things which are at an early stage more than real life events. In any case, the best attitude to adopt to "exorcize", this position of Neptune is by drinking relaxing infusions and/or homoeopathic medicines that act in such a way as to reassure and relax you, be mentally more positive and/or constructive and proactive in your work, do not close yourself in, remaining fixatedly on your positions but on the contrary “soften your approach”, forcing yourself to act with curiosity but not with suspicion to the possible changes "announced" at work, and you will see that this attitude also works for "unloading" Neptune in this position. Even your mother may suffer a kind of “psychological collapse” (depression, fears, neurosis and so on). Forcing yourself to stay close to her much more than you usually do, helping her to find a way out of this impasse, which is another way to properly "exorcize" Neptune in the X house - mother.
ELEVENTH HOUSE
Neptune transits in the house of friendship (but also of music, planning and possible mourning). For starters you can “act in time”, as always anticipating the planet – Neptune in this case – to begin to frequent "Neptunian" people in your circle of friends: artists, poets, extravagant and original personalities, at times also the types who enjoy a drink. If you do this you might "unload" Neptune before it ”affects” you by passing into your eleventh house, making you an “unstable” friend who is a bit depressed and often gets drunk. Instead, is a friend of yours particularly depressed and/or is in any case in a very bad way because of a loss? The best thing, if it is possible for you, is to help your friend by perhaps paying for his/her sessions with a psychologist (therefore giving him/her some “Neptune - psyche” for recovery, for healing a state of anguish). Another way to properly "unload" this transit would be by spending a lot of time with your friends, possibly for a project that is not very “practical” but is very utopian, above all about ideals and/or objectives that are difficult to attain and which are perhaps considered a little "crazy" or "extravagant" by normal standards.
TWELFTH HOUSE
Our advice in this case is decidedly to raise your guard, since the twelfth house is related to trials of life in general, and when Neptune transits through it, we do not know if and to what extent it will affect us in real terms or from a psychological point of view (it doesn’t matter very much because each one of us experiences things in a different way). Neptune in the twelfth sector might enormously increase your anguishes and fears tied to anything concerning the supernatural, spirits, mediums, the occult, esotericism and so on. Therefore generally a very easy way to "unload" its symbol in this house is by being careful not to frequent any of the people involved in any of the aforementioned sectors: therefore, in these years you have to keep magicians, mediums, and/or faith healers, who can instil (Neptune - psyche!) ideas regarding non-existent evils away from you, thereby not letting you fall into a mental state of true prostration. Force yourself to open your mind to thoughts of serenity and positivity, even in moments of difficulty. This would straightaway be an intelligent way to "exorcize" the symbol of Neptune. Since in any case the twelfth house concerns "ghosts", also meaning the fears of our unconscious, spontaneously go – when you are still feeling well enough to do it - and have a "chat" with a psychologist or with a psychotherapist, thereby anticipating the planet Neptune before it “forces you” to do something similar, and in addition perhaps not really under the best possible conditions.
