What is a Stellium?
There is some debate amongst astrologers today on what exactly a stellium constitutes within the natal chart, with some saying we have a stellium when we have three or more planets in the same sign and others saying there needs to be at least four or more. Some then might propose that each of these planets needs to be within 8° of the next planet within the stellium, so that they can pass as being conjunct by aspect, whereas others remain firm in the opinion that a stellium can be classed so, as long as they are within the same sign or house.
Let me clear up some confusion for you here, because there is one thing that all astrologers do agree on is that is how a stellium is interpreted within the natal chart. Your stellium will be read as a concentration of energies that are pooled into the house they reside in within your natal chart, in the sign that they fall in. Personally, I read a stellium as being three planets or more in the same sign or house and each planet does not need to be with 8° of the next.
