September’s Full Moon at 17°41’ Pisces occurs on Saturday the 10th at 10:59 BST. This should be a fairly easy-going time for us as far as Full Moon periods go, because although there are some testy squares to take into consideration, there will be some lovely, flowing aspects too. The flowing aspects are likely to help create a balance in our lives as a whole and, with the Moon in Pisces conjoining Neptune, this should work to soften the edges of our experiences whilst pro-moting a general sense of compassion and higher love between us all, hopefully on a personal level and within our respective societies.

The Pisces – Virgo Axis

The Pisces – Virgo axis represents both idealism and service, yet while Pisces and Virgo both represent these, each can do so in different ways from the other. Pisces can be very idealistic when looking at the world in hoping for greater peace and compassion to run amongst us whilst Virgo can be very idealistic in their desire for productivity and organisation within hu-manity. Together, the two can make a huge difference in the world. Like two sides of the same coin, they can complement each other well and come together as an amazing team. Acting on their idealism, Pisces will serve humanity with love and emotional understanding, whilst help-ing to lift people on their spiritual paths towards greater fulfilment. Virgo will serve humanity in practical ways; giving their all as important pillars of the community to keep the big wheel turning is their way of expressing universal love.

Venus will Square Mars

Venus’ square to Mars can effectively help to soften the harsher edges of Mars in his role as the aggressor or the fighter. At the same time, with the square, there is a danger of over-softening, to the point where we may become more likely to follow hedonistic pursuits, over-indulge or even become a little lazy. Here, the planet of action is being placated by Venus. At the same time, our planet of love Venus is being roughed up by Mars’ aggressive nature and so we may feel more inclined to pursue romance or even spend impulsively. Bringing these two effects to-gether, perhaps we will be spending impulsively in order to indulge, create enjoyment or scratch an itch that needs scratching. Either way, this is an aspect that creates a tension that opposes conflict and this might bring about all kinds of pleasurable and social activities.

Uranus will trine the Sun

To add to this mix, Uranus will trine the Sun on Saturday and the orb will be quite a tight one in this particular aspect. When Uranus trines the Sun, we are feeling more confident in the parts of our identities that are different and unique. Specifically, whatever sets us apart from the rest will be what makes us shine and there tends to be no feeling shy about this or any shame involved in the expression of this. This means there will be a real comfortability in our-selves and our identities this weekend. We may also be more inclined to seek freedom of ex-pression in doing something we wouldn’t usually entertain the thought of. This is a positive as-pect.

Mars will square The Sun and Moon

Mars will square both the Sun and the Moon at the time of the Full Moon this Saturday and this could coincide with some frustrations and perhaps even some anger towards certain de-veloping social or personal situations. However, when observed with Mars’ square to both Ve-nus and the Moon in Pisces, it seems there’s quite a chance some frustrations will be brushed under the carpet or repressed, leading to greater frustration. At the same time, there may be a much higher-than-usual need for verbal expression, as is evident with the presence of Mercury-ruled signs Gemini (which Mars is in) and Virgo (which the Sun and Venus are in). Mars is also in a trine aspect to Mercury in Libra and, while Mercury’s position seeks balance, there may be some miscommunications and misunderstandings to smooth out.

Jupiter will oppose Mercury

Jupiter’s opposition with Mercury will even further increase a need for expression on Saturday, yet with both of these planets in retrograde, there could be obstacles to this or communica-tions could take place regarding the review of spiritual morals and beliefs, especially as this re-lates to past events in our lives. Mentality, thoughts and ideas are also strongly linked and so we could spend a lot of time considering these same avenues.

Saturn will Square Uranus

Saturn will be squaring Uranus, who will act as a disrupter to Saturn’s energies, urging major changes to some sturdy constructs we have relied on in our lives for a long time. Socially and politically, this could include the patriarchy and government structures whereas in business it could mean working towards some much-needed reforms in the way we work and present our-selves to meet new responsibilities of the times.
