The Full Moon this month will land at 27°40’ Virgo, on Friday the 18th of March at 7:18 am UT. This month the Full Moon period looks very different energetically from last month’s Full Moon. Remember I said February’s Full Moon was all about getting out there and connecting, whilst making the most of the growth we could achieve both socially and financially? Well, this month the Full Moon really looks to be much more of an introspective period, albeit one of re-lease, gathering of light and intensity. There are also themes in the Full Moon chart relating to detachment in love and romance with an empathy more focussed on an important world-view and the consciousness of the collective.

While Venus tightly conjoined Mars for a good while, creating passionate romantic endeavours and graceful yet energetic artistic styles, we can now observe Venus slowly moving on from Mars, as she will finally be over the 2° orb mark of separation. Perhaps this means love is about to take on a whole new cerebral and rational flavour.

The Virgo - Pisces Axis

The Virgo - Pisces axis is the axis of service and personal health. On this axis we have the ability to serve others in a materialistic sense coupled with the strengths of spiritual service. Service is quiet work and it requires little ego to carry out the duties that are required along this axis. This is also the axis of self-sacrifice and here we might observe many people sacrificing them-selves in numerous ways for the health or good of another, quite often with little to murmur about it. With the Moon in Virgo, analysis and logic take over the emotional realm and practi-cally, what needs doing will be done. This may be done in a selfless way that gives thought to the well-being of others.

The Full Moon will Oppose Neptune

Neptune holds an important position at this specific point of March’s lunation cycle, as he is not only opposing the Moon while conjoining Jupiter and Mercury, but he is also at the mid-way point between the Sun and Jupiter. Here, Neptune is being lit energetically and boosted in value and strength. Neptune is being well-supported and is in a prime position to cast a power-ful view of the vast, ethereal realms for which he stands. We will all become much more in touch and closer to the astral world during the Full Moon on Friday and this will be great for anyone who is looking to increase their spiritual connections to their practices or throughout their prayers for the rest of the world especially. Even those who are the last to identify with spiritual worlds may find their dreams become much more vivid or even prophetic.

Neptune will Conjoin Jupiter

Neptune in a conjunction with Jupiter offers brilliant support for the realms of the imagination; for writers, artists and musical performers. Even in the week running up to the Full Moon, many of us may find we can access this ocean of emotion that we can seemingly pull from the collec-tive unconscious to focus directly into our craft. This is something we can thoroughly enjoy and we can even take a lot from this period of time to move forwards with in our eternal memories of light. The downside of this conjunction comes when we sensations are so ethereal and em-pathic that we experience feeling lost and continue to move through our days in a haze, or like we are trying to scale the deep ocean floor. This may be a feeling associated with this time. It may help to do all you can to remain grounded, yet for many it may be best to stick with art and meditation. There is a lot we can pray for in the world during this time, too.

Mercury will Conjoin Jupiter and Neptune

Mercury is in Pisces conjoining both Jupiter and Neptune, so this is likely to increase the sensa-tions of lacking direction, especially mentally and in our day-to-day organisation and planning, whatever it is we are doing or scheduling. Software, technology and communications may not necessarily behave perfectly well for everybody, but we may be able to find a way out of most potentially difficult situations with our Moon in Virgo in a trine to Pluto. Read on to find out more about this aspect.

The Moon will Trine Pluto

The Moon in Virgo in a trine to Pluto may just be like a saviour aspect for many at the time of the Full Moon. Yes, the Moon will be disposed to Mercury, who is in detriment in Pisces, but her neat trine to Pluto will offer emotional power and strength where we may need it the most. Our investigative skills will increase, but let’s ensure we don’t get sucked into a fantasy worm-hole with this amidst the potent energies of Jupiter with Neptune.

Venus will Square Uranus

The Venus – Uranus square will heighten logic and detachment in matters of romance, while at the same time artistic expressions may follow a really quirky and offbeat flow. We need auton-omy, freedom and a no-apology approach with our uniqueness in all these areas and socially. Our sentiments will be more collective than personal, too!
