The Full Moon this month will occur at 27°59’ of Leo, on Wednesday the 16th of February at 4:56 pm UTC. This could be a time when we will see many changes taking place as we are geared to-wards achieving growth and breaking free from the stagnation of the way life used to be. With the Sun in Aquarius and the Moon in Leo, both in those late degrees, we are gaining momen-tum in putting ourselves out there as much as we can, before the Sun changes into watery Pi-sces. Hopefully our efforts will pay off and bring us the material rewards we are working to-wards over the coming month. The Moon’s nodes are now in Taurus and Scorpio instead of Gemini and Sagittarius as they were during last month’s Full Moon and this means we should finally begin to see some real stages of advancement with regards to stability and financial growth over the next year. With the North Node in Gemini, we were very focussed on sharing information, learning and under-standing one another whereas now we may be more inclined to be geared towards physical comfort, pleasure and abundance. The Leo - Aquarius Axis The Leo - Aquarius axis is the axis of creativity and friendships. With this in mind and the fact the Sun is in Aquarius while the Moon is directly opposite in Leo, we are making our creations and expressing our emotions fully in an almost instinctual manner, while finding out which ways we can present this to the rest of the world in a way that feeds our ego drive, connects us with others and feels comfortably aligned with our identity. The Full Moon across the Leo - Aquarius axis really brings the topic of being social and sharing of ourselves into focus, regard-less of our background or which sign we were born under. Even the feminine signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) will be facing similar conundrums at the time of the Full Moon while learning to strike that balance between authentic expression and the drive to share externally. The Full Moon will Square the Moon’s Nodes While we already have the opposition between the Sun and the Moon, bringing with it the sense that we need to strike a balance between our emotional worlds and our identities, this Full Moon will also be forming an exact square with the Moon’s nodal axis. As I previously men-tioned, the Moon’s nodal axis is now in Taurus – Scorpio, so we are focussed as a society on our financial security and creature comforts. This happens to be at odds with the social axis that the Sun and the Moon are on; one is resting and introspective, whereas the other is all about creating connections and friendships. Therefore it will be of no surprise of there are some of us who will feel pulled between these two worlds at the time of the Full Moon. We may feel a strong desire to retreat, while at the same time recognising the importance of networking and sharing. Venus will Conjoin Mars Exactly On the day of the Full Moon, only 20 minutes prior to the fullest part of the lunation, Venus and Mars will exactly conjoin at 16°56’ Capricorn. Venus in exact conjunction with Mars will most often bring quite an energised atmosphere that is graceful and abundant with love ener-gy. How fitting for the week of Valentine’s, right?! On the one hand, Venus will work to smooth out the harsher edges and aggressive tendencies of Mars, while Mars will animate and empow-er the energies of Venus. This is a great time for exploring art, romance art, dance and any form of movement that requires grace and balance. With Venus and Mars in Capricorn, it’s also a good time for going out to explore beautiful buildings or temples. Ceres is Now in Gemini Ceres has now moved into Gemini, so all that Ceres is symbolic of, such as nurturing, the God-dess Mother, nutrition and agriculture will be demonstrated via information, sharing and guid-ance through talking. This is another reason it will be a good idea to nourish the soul with short city trips this week, especially if that city is brimming with culture and arts relating to ag-riculture and crops (Ceres is also symbolic of these). Ceres will remain in Gemini for the next 3 months until the 15th of May 2022. Ceres will also be forming a wonderful trine with Mercury, only this time Mercury is direct and in the first degree of Aquarius and this strengthens the focus of energies of Ceres in Gemini even further, especially seeing as Mercury is the ruler of Gemini. The Chart Shape is a Bucket The shape of the Full Moon chart this week will be a bucket shape, with the Moon as the han-dle of the bucket. The Moon will therefore be a focal point, taking a lot of the energies from the collection of planets that form the bucket part. With this Full Moon in Leo, expressing feelings will be a key theme and there may also be the felt need to be heard and seen for being our genuine selves and expressing our emotions without shame and to their fullest, such has al-ways been a beautiful signature of the Moon in Leo.
